Energy

Electricity
Seven high-voltage lines run through the region. Two electrical lines are equipped with a system of automatic transfer for uninterrupted service. The main hydro station in neighbouring Les Cèdres, operates at an installed capacity of 135 MW, and another nearby station (Beauharnois) operates at an installed capacity of 1,755 MW.

Natural Gas
Gaz Metro has been supplying natural gas to the Alta Industrial Park in Coteau-du-Lac since 1990.

Western Canada's Trans-Canada Pipeline's main line runs through the region. There is a decompression plant located in the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion, just 10 minutes away from the park.

Prices are extremely competitive and vary according to the volume and usage.

Water
Vaudreuil-Soulanges is at the junction of the Outaouais River and the Saint Lawrence River. An abundant supply of both drinking and raw water is supplied to the Park.

Technical, Professional and Financial Services

Most major Canadian banks and Caisses Desjardins have branches in the region. The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) is a federal institution. Its head office is in Montreal but the Pointe-Claire branch has the responsibility to help all businesses wishing to come in our area. BDC offers a wide range of financial services and financing options. The bank works closely with its clients to meet their cash-flow demands.

Visit the BDC Web site at http://www.bdc.ca

All professional services are available. Numerous lawyers, notaries, accountants, engineers, architects, land surveyors and general contractors are established in the region.

Other specialized services are available in the Greater Montreal region and are easily accessible. However, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region is becoming increasingly autonomous in this respect.
